Affiliate program

Earn 40% of every payment you refer

BlockchainSign pays 40% commission on every purchase someone makes for 180 days after they arrive through your link. Certificates are bought outright rather than subscribed to, so the commission lands with the sale instead of trickling in over a retention curve you cannot control.

  • Free to join
  • 180-day referral window
  • Tracking and payouts by Creem

Commission

40% of the payment, on every package

Not a flat bounty and not first-order-only: whatever a referred customer spends in the 180 days after they arrive, you keep two fifths of it.

Commission is calculated on the amount actually paid and rounded down to the cent, on every purchase made within 180 days of the referral. Refunded orders are reversed, as they are on any affiliate program.

How it works

Three steps, none of them ours

The program runs entirely on Creem's affiliate platform, so there is no bespoke dashboard to learn and no invoice to chase from us.

1

Apply through Creem

The program runs on Creem, the provider that already processes our checkout. Sign up on their portal and you get a unique referral link and a dashboard.

2

Share it where it fits

A comparison post, a client email, a course module, a directory listing, a reply to someone asking how to prove a file existed. Anywhere the answer is genuinely useful.

3

Get paid on every purchase

Creem attributes the sale to your link and credits you 40% of the payment — on every purchase that customer makes for 180 days, not just the first. Balances and payout details live in your affiliate dashboard.

Who this suits

It converts when the audience already has the problem

Timestamping is a considered purchase with a short decision: someone needs to prove a file existed, and either they need it or they do not. Audiences where that need is already present convert; general traffic does not.

IP and legal writers

You already explain copyright, prior art and evidence. Timestamping is the practical step readers ask about next.

Course and newsletter authors

Writers, designers and photographers ask how to protect work before they publish it. A $9.99 answer converts far better than a $200 one.

Agencies and consultants

If you hand clients deliverables under NDA, a certificate that proves the file existed without ever uploading it is an easy add-on to recommend.

Tool directories and review sites

Proof-of-existence and notarization comparisons are a live search category. Pages that name real prices rank and keep earning.

Creator communities

Design, writing and music communities hit the "poor man’s copyright" question constantly. The honest answer has a link attached.

Existing customers

You do not have to be a customer to join, but if you already use the service the recommendation writes itself.

What we ask

Promote it accurately and there is nothing else to it

We have one real rule, and it exists because breaking it costs you money too: do not oversell what a timestamp does. It proves a specific file existed at a specific time and has not changed since. It does not prove authorship, it is not a copyright registration, and it is not a legal ruling. A customer who buys on an overclaim asks for a refund, and a refunded order reverses your commission.

Beyond that: no bidding on our brand name in paid search, no cookie stuffing, no spam or unsolicited bulk email, no self-referral, and no pages that present themselves as BlockchainSign. Everything else — reviews, comparisons, tutorials, newsletters, videos, courses, honest criticism — is fair game.

Need a fact checked, a screenshot, or a straight answer about how we compare to something else before you publish? Write to [email protected] and a person who can change the product will answer.

Frequently asked questions

How much is 40% actually worth?
40% of the payment, whatever it is: $3.99 on a single $9.99 certificate, $19.99 on the $49.99 ten-pack, $119.99 on the $299.99 hundred-pack. There is no cap on the number of referrals you can earn on and no minimum you have to hit to stay in the program.
How long does a referral keep earning?
180 days from the moment someone first arrives through your link. Every purchase they make inside that window pays you 40%, not only their first one — which matters here, because people typically buy a single certificate to try the service and come back for a pack once they have used it.
What does it cost to join?
Nothing. There is no fee, no minimum audience, and no requirement to buy anything first. You apply on the Creem portal and start with a link.
Who handles tracking and payment?
Creem, our payment provider. They attribute the sale, hold the balance and run the payout, so the commission comes out of the same transaction that processed the card. The referral window is set to 180 days; your balance, payout method and payout schedule are all in the Creem affiliate dashboard once you sign up.
Do I need to be a customer to join?
No. It helps — the most convincing referrals come from people who have actually created a certificate and seen the Etherscan transaction — but it is not a condition.
What am I allowed to say about the product?
Anything true. What we ask you not to do is claim a timestamp proves authorship or ownership, that it replaces copyright registration, or that it is "legally binding" — none of that is accurate, and we do not claim it ourselves. A timestamp proves a specific file existed at a specific time and has not changed since. Referrals built on an overclaim generate refund requests, which is bad for both of us.
Is there anything that gets an affiliate removed?
Bidding on our brand name in paid search, cookie stuffing, spam, unsolicited bulk email, and self-referral on your own purchases. Fake reviews and impersonating BlockchainSign likewise. Ordinary honest promotion is welcome and we are not looking for reasons to disqualify anyone.
Can I write a comparison that is critical of you?
Yes, and it will probably convert better. We publish our own comparison pages saying where competitors are cheaper or better suited. If you want facts checked before you publish, write to [email protected] and we will answer straight.
